Inspection & Maintenance:
1. Inspectors shall be fully familar with the performance parameters of the Z-tpe bucker elevator.
2. Pre-start preparation for 15m high granular Z-type bucket elevator.
1) Check that the on-site selector switch is set to "Remote Control" (set to " Local Control" for on-site start/stop).
2) Confirm no water accumulation, iron debris or other foreign matters inside the elevator, and seal the manhole door properly.
3) Check the lubrication condition of all lubrication points and confrim normal oil level in the reducer.
4) Verify proper tension of the lfting chain (belt).
5) Check that all protective covers are in good condition.
6) Inspect the reducer, fluid coupling and transmission bearings for oil shortage or oil deterioration; replenish or replace oil timely if deterioration occurs.
7) Check that the backstop device is intact and the inching drive is disengaged.
8) Proper lubrication is essential for the Z-type bucket elevator, as it is for all machinery. Lubrication systems vary axross equipment; for this unit, lubricant viscosity is a key indicator of fluid flow performance.
3. Startup procedure of Z-type bucket elevator
1) Before startup. notify electricians to inspect all switches, low-voltage circuit breskers, AC contactors and thermal relays in the electrical switchgear cabinet to ensure good working condition; do not unlock safety devices arbitrarily.
2) Sound an alarm before starting the custom multi-point discharge elevator to ensure safety before operation.
3) Jog the inching drive to check its rotation direction.
4) Start the inching drive and check foe chain (including plate chain) and belt misalignment via the deviation indicator. If misalignment occurs, adjust the tensioning device to center the belt and chain, the lock the tensioning device after adjustment.
5) Jog the main motor button to verify correct rotation direction.
6) Start the main motor and observe the operation of the stainless steel flip-bucket Z-type elevator. On-site operators may leave the local control switch only after confirmly normal startup of the elevator.
