Ro-Tap Standard Test Sieve
Ro-Tap standard test sieve, also known as ro-tap sieve, is a professional laboratory screening testing equipment. It is specially applied to particle composition analysis and high-precision grading of raw granular materials, serving as essential testing equipment for industrial laboratory raw material inspection.
Ⅰ. Working Principle
The machine adopts a compound vibration mode combining horizontal reciprocating movement and vertical tapping impact. It can evenly disperse granular materials and realize efficient screening, perfectly matching standard test sieves for quantitative particle detection and analysis.
Ⅱ. Structural Composition
The motor drives gear speed regulation through synchronous belt, and the main shaft operates with eccentric wheel to drive the slide plate and test sieve for left-right swing. Meanwhile, the top rod gear runs synchronously to drive the tapping hammer to strike the sieve body, completing material layered screening inside test sieves and sample sieves.
The sieve mounting part realizes one-time positioning, which facilitates the placement, disassembly and assembly of Φ200 standard test sieves by locking fixing nuts and jackscrews.
For lubrication system, it is designed with two modes: manual lubrication and automatic lubrication. Four oil filling holes on the upper body support regular manual oiling for friction parts. The automatic lubrication structure delivers lubricating oil to all friction components via oil ring with shaft rotation. The oil filling capacity shall follow the oil window scale according to different manufacturer process standards.
It is equipped with independent automatic shutdown device, composed of toggle switch, button, intermediate relay and time relay. Users can freely set screening running time by adjusting the keys on the time relay.
Ⅲ. Operation & Installation Specification
This equipment is matched with three-phase motor, and the rotation direction must follow the red arrow mark on the motor. Reversed rotation will cause cam and top rod jamming and fail normal operation. Before formal use, lift the top rod to test motor rotation, exchange two live wires of three-phase power supply if direction is wrong.
The whole machine shall be fixed on horizontal foundation with anchor bolts or expansion screws in accordance with electrical safety regulations, and reliable grounding must be done for circuit installation. The top rod shall be lifted when switching power supply or relocating the machine for safety check.
When installing test sieves, loosen tray screws, put in material-filled standard sieves, reset and fasten the tray, close the flip cover and place the tapping hammer, then set timing to start operation. Clamps of 100mm and 75mm size are compatible, and custom sizes are available for special demands.
Built-in timing system supports automatic stop upon time up, with the first two digits for minutes and the last two for seconds to meet diverse testing cycle needs. The tapping height is well calibrated before factory delivery; users can adjust and lock the height by loosening fastening nuts if necessary. Regular oil maintenance for sliding plates and oil nozzles is required to extend service life.
