一, Working Principle of Double Roll Crusher
Materials fall into the gap between the two rollers from the top feed inlet, and are drawn into the crushing zone under the combined action of roller surface friction and gravity. Materials are crushed by the combined forces of extrusion, impact, kneading and shearing of the two rollers; finished materials are discharged naturally from the bottom, and the product particle size is directly controlled by the roller gap.
When encountering excessively hard or unbreakable foreign matters, the movable roller will automatically retreat through the hydraulic cylinder or spring to widen the gap, and return to its original position immediately after the foreign matters are discharged, effectively preventing equipment damage. The distance between the two rollers can be precisely adjusted through gasket replacement, worm gear mechanism or hydraulic system, with the discharging particle size controllable from 50 microns to several millimeters.
