Resolve Dust Problems with an Automated Dust-Free Feeder

If dust pollution has been plaguing your production site and putting your workers’ health at risk, our dust-free feeding station is the perfect fix. This closed, automated unit is crafted specifically to unpack, feed, and screen powder, granular, or small block materials—delivering safe, eco-friendly material handling for sectors like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food.

1. Working Principle of Dust-Free Feeding Station

You can install the dust-free feeding station right above a silo, so screened materials drop directly into it. It also works well for steady feeding of various pneumatic conveying equipment: after unpacking and removing impurities, materials get transported to the silo via the pneumatic system.
While unpacking and pouring bags, the dust removal fan runs non-stop, maintaining negative pressure around the feeding platform. This keeps dust from escaping during pouring, so your production environment stays clean and your workers are protected from harmful dust exposure. The station is made up of four key parts: a feeding platform, vibrating screen, dust collector, and control cabinet.

2. Installation and Commissioning of Dust-Free Feeding Station

  • Set the feeding station at your desired production spot. You can secure it with anchor bolts (supplied by the customer) or leave it unfastened if needed.
  • Connect compressed air to the backblow air tank. Use the knob on the filter pressure reducing valve to adjust the air pressure in the tank to 0.4~0.6Mpa—this air is used to pulse backblow and clean the filters in the dust collector.
  • Hook up the power supply to the control cabinet, flip the main switch, and the control panel will light up. Set the cycle time to 16 and the pulse backblow time to 05.
  • Press the on/off button on the control panel, and both the dust removal fan and the vibration fan on the vibrating screen will start up. Take a moment to check the dust removal fan’s rotation direction: if it’s correct, a strong airflow will come out of the exhaust. If the airflow is weak, the fan is spinning the wrong way—shut it down and rewire the motor.
  • Backblow Valve 1 and Backblow Valve 2 will take turns pulse backblowing the four filters inside the dust collector.

3. Troubleshooting of Dust-Free Feeding Station

3.1 Dust Overflow During Pouring

  • Dust removal fan spinning backwards: Adjust the motor’s wiring phase sequence to fix this.
  • Filter resistance too high from long-term use: Replace the filter promptly.
  • Compressed air pressure below 0.4Mpa (causing weak backblow): Adjust the pressure to 0.4~0.6Mpa right away.
  • No backblow function: Check the pulse valve or control system thoroughly for issues.

3.2 Powder Accumulates on the Screen and Does Not Move

  • Screen clogged by unremoved debris: Clear the debris from the screen immediately.
  • Too much powder poured into the station, which the pneumatic conveying equipment can’t keep up with—this compacts the powder in the vibrating screen: Slow down the rate at which you pour powder into the station.
